Participant Sign Up Page For an Experimental Tour in Waco, Texas July 19th (Wed.), 20th (Th.), and 21st (Fr.) 2023
Jim Houran, Ph.D., Brian Laythe, Ph.D., and Cindy Little, Ph.D., invite you to participate in a paranormal research study adventure involving:
a. Completing a survey that will help us understand your personal paranormal experiences.
b. Testing yourself on an ESP application we have developed for this study. If you thought you had ESP, this is one way you can know!
c. Joining us for an entertaining guided tour of three locations in Waco, Texas, where we will ask you to complete some brief surveys and exercises!
Your paranormal tour will take approximately 3 hours in all, involving visiting a baseline location, a sacred location, and a haunted location while completing ESP tests as well as questions about the locations during the tour.
Snacks and drinks are provided for all participants.

WHERE IS THE TOUR? AND IS THERE A CHARGE OR REQUIREMENT FOR SIGNING UP?
The experiment involves:
1. C
ompleting the registration survey below.
2. Signing up for your scheduled tour on our scheduling application below.
3. Showing up and enjoying the tour.
There are no fees associated with this study, everything is completely free. However, you do need to be 18 years or older to participate, and you must a. complete the survey provided below to participate, b. show up at your scheduled time (all tours start 1503 Washington Ave, Waco, TX 76701), and c. bring a smartphone with web access to complete information during the tour.
Snacks and drinks will be provided for everyone, you will have a chance to ask questions about the paranormal from three Ph.D. Parapsychologists and every participant that completes the study will receive 30.00$ for your time and participation.

HOW DOES THIS TOUR PROCESS WORK?
Once you have completed the initial survey and have been invited to participate in the tour, you should show up 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Once there, you will be placed with the other participants who have signed up for your session. Each session will be exposed to three different locations. In each location, participants will be asked to complete an ESP app session twice in each location.
ARE THERE RISKS TO THIS STUDY?
There is no harm or danger by any reasonable standard in regard to the tour research process. However, the nature of a paranormal location does, by its namesake, enhance the potential for creating negative emotions such as fear or anxiety, depending on the person. Participants should come prepared for the possibility of this type of experience.

S THE DATA YOU COLLECT ON ME PRIVATE?
Yes. Per standard ethical guidelines of research, all data is collected on password-protected cloud servers, and only the principal researchers will have access to the data. No other sources will have access to said data at any time. Further, we will not report any personally identifiable information within any publication of this data. Results from data will only be published in an aggregated (group) format.
HOW DO YOU SIGN UP? FOLLOW THESE THREE STEPS!

STEP 1.
Complete the pre questionnaire which will ask you questions about your beliefs and personal experiences. This process should take no more than 25 minutes.

STEP 2.
Practice your ESP skills by taking this brief test before you come to the tour. During the tour you can use this link to take ESP tests.
STEP 3: Schedule Your Tour
